Hi all, Please advice how I can erase the history of messages, calls etc at my iPhone and iPad. Erasing the same history at the notebook was easy to do. However this history still appears at the rest of my devices (iPhone and iPad)

I have done this on my iPhone 4S and 5.

1. Goto Recent Home (means go back where list of conversations displayed)
2. Click Edit in the top left corner.
3. RED MINUS will appear on each conversation. Use it to delete one by one...

Please have a look at our FAQs:
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10638/how-do-i-use-skype-for-iphone#9

To delete your conversation history on iPhone:
1) Tap Messages to bring up your conversation, text message and call history.
2) Swipe your finger from left to right on the conversation, text message or call you want to remove.
3) Tap Delete.

For iPad:

To clear the 'Recents', swipe on the conversation and tap 'Close'.
To then clear the 'History', swipe on the conversation under History and tap 'Delete'.

I've got iPhone 5. No idea if it's same way on iPad.

1) Tap "Recent" to bring up your conversation, text message and call history.
2) Swipe your finger from left to right on the conversation, text message or call you want to remove. "Delete" button will appear.
3) Tap "Delete".

U have to turn ur ipad landscape and by ur profile pic it says "edit". Click that and the delete icon will show up next to the all the different chats in the left column. Just hit that delete icon and its gone . Again go to history for the deleted conversation and delete from there too.....

The solution deletes your recent history but if you select a specific user that you haven't spoken to in >6months, you can load your conversation history there. It seems to be impossible to delete this history. :-(

Hi there,

I have tried all of this deleting process. It clears history temporary.

But, if I delete Skype from my Iphone4 for some reason and then reinstall it then all my history reapears including all conversation.

How can I delete permanently all conversation history, please help on that.

Thanks alot.
