i can't watch my video message

I've been sent a video message and to watch it i have to click on the link and copy the code, but once i've done this i can't view my video. I just have a black box with a loading circle and the video will not load though i have left it for ages. Any ideas of how i'll be able to watch this video? Thanks

Both 6.5.0.158 and 6.5.73.158 are final editions, and 6.5.0.158 is not the business version. The corresponding business version is 6.5.32.158.

 

Nevertheless, if you can now watch your Video message in Skype window, then most likely the Video message which you have received from your contact was corrupted. Was this a Messenger contact?

What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?

 

In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer.

Have you inserted the received link into IE? Is Internet Explorer set as your default browser?

Try Below:

 

Reset IE.

 

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window

WinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)

 

 

Type: iexplore.exe and press Enter

 

In IE, Click Internet Options >> Advanced >> Restore Advanced Settings >> Reset.

Mark Delete personal settings >> OK >> restart.

 

Please Run the Cleaning Manager Utility

 

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window

 

type: cleanmgr tuneup and press Enter

select the Temp Internet Files boxes and click OK, then Click Delete files.

 

Check Proxy settings

 

In Internet Explorer, Go to, Tools >> Internet Options... >> Connections>> Lan settings , Use a proxy server... if it had been ticked, then... Remove that check. Make sure automatically detect settings is enabled. (Marked)

 

 

Now try again.
