I received a video message and would like to save it so I can see it past 7 days. How do I save it? Can I use Windows Live Gallery Photo?

Try this.

Download and Run SQLite Database Browser

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/files/latest/download

Open the main.db file with it.

C:\Users\Tamim\AppData\Roaming\Skype\tamim\main.db

Click Browse Data >> Change the drop down option for the Table: to VideoMessages.

Under vod path, you will see the link. Copy / Paste this link to your browsers address bar.

If you have an older version of Skype (version older than 6.5) is installed then try this.

I have a Mac, how do I save a video message with that? Your answer looked good but I don't know anything about that stuff. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. I have the newest version of Skype 6.7

I tried this method, and it worked all the way up to the point where you said to paste it in the address bar. I tried entering it and it said 401 unauthorized. Is there another way?

You need to play the video first in your Skype client.
