Forgot Skype Account Password
I. Active Registered Email Address
Then just enter your registered email address in the “Enter Your Email Address” field and click the “Submit” button. An email with a Temporary Code link will be sent to your registered email address.
Then you will be asked to enter a new password for your account, and retype in again to confirm.
If there is more than one Skype account associated with your email address, there will be a dropdown menu where you can select the username of the account you wish to request a new password for.
Please note that the password reset token is only valid for 6 hours after it was sent.
II. Registered Email Address No Longer Accessible or Active

Please note that this option will only work if your account has a billing or purchase history in the past 6 months.
Just provide the information that will be requested such as an First and Last name, Country, Order Number or credit card details.
If you will not be able to provide the information that is being requested, you may need to contact customer service (this option may only be applicable to those who have billing or purchase history).
If you have no puchase made in the last 6 months, and no access to the email address registered in your Skype account, there may be no more way to reset or request for a new password for your Skype username.

Just a suggested/possible way to know the email address registered in your account (if in case you forgot it) is to use the Add a Contact window. Just enter the possible email address in the Email field. Once you enter the correct email address, the result will show your Skype username and that will confirm that the email address you entered is the one associated with your Skype Account.
