I was contacted today, by someone trying very badly to impersonate a chief of staff of US Army. I saw the uniform and thought is was my son playing around, but no it was much more sinister. I give Skype permission to use details in our chat to locate and punish, evil scammers. Sick of them, they ruin it for everyone. Raymond T. Odierno My names are Lieutenant General Raymond Wallace a United States Army presently serving here in afghanistan the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Joint Command and Deputy Commander, U.S. Forces – Afghanistan .

it's a common scam which take advantage of Skype services.  Well you can report them to contactus@skype.net so they can check and investigate the activities of that user, and possibly block them if deemed necessary.

I have been contacted by this scammer pretending to be the General. They have also contacted me using the name Sir Alexander Richard David Sherreff and also General David M Rodriguez (skype name gen david.rodriguez878) What always gives them away is the poor spelling and grammar.

I have had 5 such messages since yesterday. Is there any way to stop them??? It seems the more you block and report, the more messages you get!!!

Casual Tourist

I think this scammer is at it again and has been targeting elderly women.
