report them to abuse@skype.net so that Skype can do something about their account.  If you feel that what they did is a serious offence, you can also contact your local police.

What did you do about this matter? I'm going through the same thing.

Hi, AL24, and welcome to the Community!

I believe the best defense is a strong offense:

  • Block and Report as Abuse all such unsolicited and unwanted contact invitations.
  • Change your account password regularly.
  • Ensure your privacy and incoming audio call, video call, and instant message settings are adjusted to receive calls only from people on your contact list.

Realizing this is an international community ... if you have any concern that your privacy or safety is in question, do not hesitate to contact your local law enforcement agency who have the means to contact Skype.

Best regards,

Elaine

Thank You Elaine, I just don't want my parents to find out about this so I don't know what to do! I didn't even want to do anything over the cam, because I'm not a pervet, but the devil still got a hold of me. The female has a video of me, so if I don't pay her $130 she is going to send it to my close friends and family on facebook, and post them on pornsites. I call a law firm and they are going to call me back sometime today, i don't know what to do! I don't want my parents finding out about this, even doe I am 24 yrs old and grown. I almost died 3x in 2007 but im do much better now, so right now they taking care of me,

Hi, AL24,

You are most welcome.  Even knowing more of the back-story (be wise regarding what you post on a public Community or forum such as this), I still recommend contacting your local law enforcement agency.

Best regards,

Elaine

Hi, AL24,

Skype does not permit an account to be deleted once it is created, but an account can be abandoned, and you certainly can remove all traces of your affiliation with the account and start afresh.  More information here:  'Can I delete my Skype account?'

Best regards,

Elaine
