I'm basically having trouble allowing a third party application to access Skype.  It's called Pamela for Skype and I'm sure most of you have heard of this before, but I've just gotten this new laptop with Windows 8 and I can't figure out how to allow Pamela to access my Skype account?

One person recommended that I download the desktop version, but for some reason it won't let me because I have Windows 8...it want's to go to the app again..

Any help?

Just found out that Pamela doesn't work with the new Windows 8 for Skype you need to have the desktop version enabled.
