When a contact comes online or goes offline, I no longer recieve a drop-down notification in the top right hand corner. My Preferences are as follows: Notifications>Display visual notifications (checked)>Using (built-in notifications) and Position (top right). I am also running the latest version of Skype and my Mac XOS software is also up to date. Could someone advise what is happening and how to fix the issue? I still recieve the sound notification, but I have to open Skype and figure out who came online/went offline from my list of contacts.....

I found the answer after searching these forums!

Preferences--->Notifications--->Event (Drop down bar)--->Contact becomes available/Contact becomes unavalible--->Check the Display built-in visual notification

Contacts should now show when they are on/offline!

Hope this helped!
