When trying to download the free trial of group video skyping, I click on the indicated button and what downloads is Skypesetup.msi.  The instructions are for Skypesetup.exe. When I click on Skypesetup.msi it asks me what program I want to open to access it.

Thanks for any help!

Kudos, because I've got the same problem and hope this will bump the post to get an answer. I'm on a Mac, I guess this is true for ciaricco as well.

Yay, I just got the answer from Skype Support via Twitter! There is a separate download page for Mac (which is a bit hard to find). If you download from this page, you don't get an *.msi, but a *.dmg package http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/macosx/

I have experienced an odd issue trying to get the free trial pro group video. The code downloaded says Wine Helper and it produces some info about fonts. I am on a MAC.

Skypesetup.msi turns into Wine helper. What is the problem?
