Skype completely froze

I mean, you can see it. But, I can't click on anything and I also tried downloading the new version of Skype through this website and it said I already have another copy of skype running. I can't shut it down and I can't use it. Does this mean I can't use skype anymore ? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, you might :

-  use "Force quit..." item from    menu (at top left screen).

-  or go to Utilities/Activity Monitor, and once there, 'kill' the running Skype copy.
