I've had several people use the skype on my Mac (I'm running Lion) to go on their accounts.  Is there anyway to delete their screen name from showing up on my Skype at login?

Here's how to delete user name from Skype list in Mac OSx Lion.

In the "Terminal" just type:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

followed by the command

killall Finder

Then you can see again the skype profiles in the folder User/Local User Name/Library/Application Support/Skype/.  Delelte whichever name (folder).

To set the Finder settings back just execute those same commands above, but switch that TRUE to FALSE.

yeah that didn't work, there's got to be a way to do this.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled it.  There's got to be another Mac-Lion user out there that knows

Get to Terminal

Type this: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

Hit Enter

Then type: killall Finder

Then hit enter

Then in Finder: you can see again the skype profiles in the folder User/Local User Name/Library/Application Support/Skype/. Delete whichever name (folder).

If you want to hide those folders again:
Get to Terminal

Type: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE

Then hit enter
Then type: killall Finder

Then hit enter

YIf you're running Windows 7, post your question in the Windows forum, rather than here in the Mac world, for an answer.   http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows/bd-p/Windows
