Skype 5.0 for linux

Novel Adventurer

Yay, cmon microsoft, release update! Prove company still has at least some coding skills left in dev dep's.

Honorary Adventurer

Sure there is a plan for Linux 5, & it's feature set...

Sadly the only way to see it is to be a developer for Skype, they are quite reluctant to give advance info on the future versiona of Skype.

Novel Tourist
Just got an e-mail from Skype yesterday that said the following. "Using Linux? We'll be releasing a version for Linux devices soon. Please visit Skype.com and go to Downloads to check if the release is available." So, it looks like something is coming soon.

Quite ironic get a email with the title "Skype: Update to the latest version".

Casual Adventurer

Has any old member received this e-mail telling new version is coming soon?
