iPhone App update 9/27/11 has MANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE FIX.

New iPhone app downloaded today via iTunes update is BAD.  Now the new mobile skype does not show my existing credit, has amount symbols listed only in EU not US if I wanted to SMS someone on the below mentioned long list, I cannot erase previous messages leaving a long list of unerasable names, my profile image does not show while in a chat, and while I'm using skype on my PC with the iPhone's app open the phone does not show me on, or my chat in service like the old one did.  The prior versions wasn't broken folks...  VERY BAD NEW SKYPE APP - PLEASE CORRECT ASAP.  Best Regards.

I agree completely.  Especially not being able to erase messages.  Now my iPhone is running out of memory because I cannot get rid of old useless data.

If I cannot get rid of old messages, I'll just stop using Skype.  It's that simple.

Agree, see my post under "Bluetooth headset" for details, but once BT is used by Skype, you can't use it with normal cellphone or any other app until sign out and reboot. Ugghhh!

This update just made things worse. I was expectiong at least a lag fix, but instead we have a slower version. It just lags so much that i find it unusable ( iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.4 ).

I used to have skype on all the time, now i'll just delete it and won't use it on my phone until ( if ) it gets fixed.

Have you even tested the app before releasing it ?!

This upgrade blocks some countries, drops calls and make hearing the other party impossible. Please put it back. Your new version should be better tested before you roll it out. So far, this is the worst version of Skype for iPhone since the beginning of Skype for iPhone. I make most of my calls during weekends. If you lock me out during this weekend, then I will discontinue using Skype permanently. You'd better scrap this version FAST.

Ever since i updated my Skype to the latest version on my iPhone 4, I have had nothing but problems. It freezes and glitches when it attempts to load my chat history, I have had to reset my phone many times. I chat on skype lots on my computer, then when I leave my house and go mobile, it will load all my chat history from my computer. It takes forever to load, it used to load the chat history fast, but now it takes so long I can't even use the app. If I try to chat while it loads all my history it freezes up, if I try to do something else on my phone while it's loading, my whole phone will freeze and I will have to reset. Please fix this Skype! ......Also I am running 'iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.5'

How do I change skype back to the previous version 3.0.1? I use it regularly and the update is totally useless I can no longer chat with my regular contacts without the app crashing. This app is the worse app on the iPhone please go back to the old one ASAP I have a number of international contacts that I need to stay in contact with
