Re: iOS 5 problem!

I was very hopeful looking at your solution, however despite copying your settings it is still not working. My iPad2 has the french or french canadian version on ios5. I mention it so that the skype people realize that this is a problem and the solution is not in the settings.

Regards to all of you trying to find a solution.

Re: iOS 5 problem!

I'm having the same issue as well even after trying turning off the notification panel. I hope there's an iOS 5 update soon. Skype is seriously crippled on iOS 5 right now.

Re: iOS 5 problem!

I tried the suggested option of downloading from an US itunes account and it doesn´t fix the problem.  At least for me the issue remains.

Re: iOS 5 problem!

Strange, I don't have Skype listed as an app in the notification center of my 4s. I am running 3.5.117, same as a colleague, and he has it listed in his notification center (and the alert style - alerts fix worked for him).

How do I get Skype in my notification center? I have rebooted to no avail.

Re: iOS 5 problem!

As recommended by my local Apple store  I upgraded from ios 4.3.5 to iOS5 yesterday on my ipod touch 4g. It went according to plan. When some of my installed apps didn't open (screen flashed quickly then closed) .None of my video calling applications are working whether its skype or nimbuzz.
