Wrong 'from' number when sending SMS texts using Skype on iPhone

I have my Skype on iPhone "caller ID" set up (via the website) so when I call from skype to a cell phone my preferred number shows up.  But if I send SMS to that same phone a random number is shown as the sender. In they Skype app the "Skype Number" field shows "Not Active".

So something is not working.

My phone is registered in Finland, so the number starts with +358. Since recently the persons receiving my SMS see that they come from +44, that is Great Britain. What is even more funny is that the number following +44 is different every time. Clearly people cannot know that I sent the SMS and they cannot reply.

Has anyone had a response from Skype regarding this.

I purchased a number and it doesn't display when I call people and an old, deleted number now displays as the number sms messages are being sent from.
