hello skype auto charged my bank account and i was not on auto recharge a rep from skpe helped me a few months ago to sign up for 3 more months for 10.00 and made sure i was not on auto re charge now my account is over and i live on disablitly and do not get paid till the 3rd of next month can someone help me please i few months ago i chated with someone from here and dont know how to do that again and im stressed

Hi, Log into your account, then check to see if you are on auto, if you are not it is not activated take a screen shot of it as proof. If it is activated then the customer service rep you dealt with that said your account is not on auto gave you wrong information and unfortunately you will probably have to pay for their mistake. Never trust Skype customer service to do something for you quite frankly most of them do not know what they are doing. Some of the emails I have had back from customer service in the past are...all I can say is comical.

 

If you are on auto this can be deactivated first like I said you need to see if you are set up. sign into your account you should see an overview of you account. Just by where it says buy credit on the right handside you will set up auto recharge, however if yours is already set up you wont see that.

 

What I suggest you do is email customer service and explain what has happened, you could also go to billing or subsription section of this help forums you would get a better answer from there.

Can someone PLEASE help me? I am missing a large portion of chat history from when I had to use my ipod touch due to my computer having issues preventing me from being on it. I would really like to retrieve this history if possible!

We are having the same issue.

 

We may have to roll back our Skype deployment.  And to think we were going company-wide with it... and here, we are busted at the first rollout site!
