Skype not Supported 4.2.1 ???

Today I just restore my iphone 3G with ios 4.2.1 . Now em gonna download skype from app store but i can't able to download it because skype is only available for ios 4.3.. Now what can I do ??? Please help me!! I need skype.

i try to update my iphone through itunes (as always )   BUT  no able to acheive a ios 4,3  or greater  so that can run SKYPE normaly .  

that mean we must forget SKYPE totaly?????????????

This is not good. I've been a regular (paying) Skype user for many years... only recently did I need to wipe my iPhone 3G and reinstall all my apps... and now I can't use Skype anymore?!?

At least offer the older, "poorer cousin", to those of us with older phones. There's no need to deny access.

As a years long paying skype customer, I'm going to kiss this bloody skype a goodbye and look for alternative. You are really a piece of crap because of the way you treat your customers

I agree this can't be. I have a iphone 3G and now i can't use skype anymore although i've being paying for my flat each month for years. Now skype left me only two options. Throwing my good old iphone away or stop paying for my flat.

Why don't you still offer the old version for IOS 4.2.1 like every serios company would do?

What!!! This is terrible!

I have just gave my girl my old iphone 3g, reset it, and can´t install skype anymore. 1 month ago I was using it in iphone 3g and now I just can´t??? Microsoft is doing a great job losing good costumers... there are a LOT of iphone 3G out there.

Just to add my frustration to this. My girlfriend has an old iPhone that won't take IOS 4.3, so having similarly done a restore she is now without Skype. May I recommend What's App and Viber as alternatives.
