Skype for iPad won't recognize username/password

Just downloaded Skype for my ipad2 and created an account. But when I try to sign in on my iPad app it tells me it does not recognize my username and/or password. But I can sign on the main Skype website no problem. Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem. I am unable to download Skype for iPad. I can log into Skype and it recognizes me and that is about all I can do. Any suggestions to get around this problem would be gratefully received.

Here too...I have dowloaded and re-downloaded Skype for ipad2, and each time I attempt to login, I enter username/pw and app simply crashes.

I had the same problem. I just downloaded Skype again from the App store and it works fine.
