Skype credit not recognized

I purchased a skype credit for my iphone yesterday.  It is in my account.

However, when I try to call a number the call is dismissed because I "do not have any credits."

How can I fix this?

This is horrible.  I have credit on my account- the system keeps bugging me to get more credit and I have over $14 of credit.  It doesn't recognize it though.  It acts as if I have no credit.  

This is the best help we get?  Oh well, maybe someone will answer.
