Skype Update (3.5.454) just out!

Hooray! Skype have just updated their iPhone app to version 3.5.454! Downloading it now and can't wait to test it... I hope most of the really bad bugs that plagued the previous update have now been fixed.

Unbelievable... Just unbelievable! The new Skype version (3.5.454) still does not delete the message/call history, although I slide/click the 'Delete' button for each of the entries! The behaviour is exactly the same as in the old buggy version (as if the new one isn't...). The history appears to be cleared while in the current session, but upon quitting and running the app again, it magically reappears on your face! I guess the development team of Skype are either blind, retarded, or they never actually use or beta-test their apps...

Well, I think I've wasted enough of my time with this piece of crap. Will be uninstalling it later on this evening... Many thanks to the Skype team for not listening to their paying customers. The 10 € of Skype Credit I bought recently will be the last money that $kype or Micro$oft will ever get from me or my friends and colleagues.

I agree with you, they are not taking care of loyal customers who use their service by paying subscriptions. The history after being deleted still comes back again and again. This bug is still not sorted out yet.I also believe that I will leave this skype community soon.This is definitly dangerous.

Still proving to be an unreliable piece of crap.  Still quits when running in the background.  I can't use this reliably and I'm having to rethink the whole Skype/iPhone scenario as a communications method.  This has gone on for 4-6 weeks now.

Thats it for me, dullards, if the silence from Skype wasn't so deafening, and they let us know what was happening then maybe people would be a little more paitent and understanding. I can't believe they can take your money and provide this level of service, ie none.

how do you upgrade? When I look in iTunes it's showing I have the latest version... however, when I look on my phone it shows the older version??!!??? I tried deleting the app and then reinstalling in on the phone but it still didn't work. Help please.

I use iPhone 3G OS4 ,before upgraded I can skype without a headset - with built-in phone microphone, after upgraded I cant! I can call out but people didnt hear me ( but i can hear them) unless I plug in the headset. I also tried restarting the phone but nothing changed.

This is utterly annoying.
