Skype 3.5.118 not remaining online iPad2 iOS 5

I have the same problem. Tried everything. Could this be an issue of signing out for security reasons? I have another app that has automatic sign in and keep me signed in options however in order to use those options you need to have the iPad passcode lock enabled. I don't use the pass lock so I was wondering if others do and have had this problem.

The problem is known to us and we are currently trying to fix it. Unfortunately I can't offer you any workarounds at the moment.

I also meet the same issue after I updated iOS 5,alway a message to check local network setup!

I can not receive any calls if the Skype screen isn't open, makes it awful for waiting for someone to call me because I can't do anything else on my iPad until they call, it makes having Skype a bit pointless, unless all my friends synchronise their watches lol can anyone help me with this please

Lad thats not good enough, this problem is since the release of ios 5.0.1, fix the problem or post the previous version of skype back in the app store. for people with this problem, absolute joke, this is costing people money that use skype for business.

Please upgrade to the latest 3.6 update via the App Store. We've addressed this issue there.
