It's come to our attention that some of our users are having problems logging into Skype for iPhone and Skype for iPad 4.0. We are looking into this matter and will provide an update soon.

Today we've published an update to our Skype app which should fix this issue and is available from the App Store: Get it from the App Store
I am having this problem, started after updating to version 126.96.36.1994, after trying to signing me in the system prompts the message "Account:B_IO_ERROR.
If I delete the app and reinstall, it allows me to sign me but just once.
No way around this until you figure out a solution? My skype on the IPhone just zonked out with this problem and now can't get in and use it....ugh!!!!
I have the same problem on an iPod and I recall there was a recent software update and since that update - you have had to come back to sign back into Skype day after day. In the past you just stayed signed in. So perhaps it's a problem with your latest release?
