Sign in problems - account::DB_IO_ERROR [ Edited ]

It's come to our attention that some of our users are having problems logging into Skype for iPhone and Skype for iPad 4.0. We are looking into this matter and will provide an update soon.

I am having this problem, started after updating to version 4.0.0.1264, after trying to signing me in the system prompts the message "Account:B_IO_ERROR.

If I delete the app and reinstall, it allows me to sign me but just once.

No way around this until you figure out a solution?  My skype on the IPhone just zonked out with this problem and now can't get in and use it....ugh!!!!

I just tried to log in on my iPad and am still getting the same error

I have the same mistake trying to log in using an iPod

I have the same problem on an iPod and I recall there was a recent software update and since that update - you have had to come back to sign back into Skype day after day. In the past you just stayed signed in. So perhaps it's a problem with your latest release?

Maybe you can roll back to the previous release while you figure out the bug so we can continue to use our prepaid minutes on our app?
