It's not ringing while running in background

I miss calls every day while skype is running in background in my iphone 4 os 5
It not ringing at all unless in foreground
Please help

Go into settings--> notifications --> Skype. Set your alert style to either "banners" or "alerts." Make sure that "badge app icon", "sounds", and "view in lock screen "are all set to on. Go back into settings, and scroll down to Skype. Go into the Skype settings, go into notifications, and insure sounds and alerts are both set to on.

 Keep an eye on screen  / 

a flash should quickly comes on for a second

   if there is an incoming call / 

a very FAST BRIGHT FAST  FLASH

with the    name of person calling

along with & a message asking you to choose to

              accept or decline the call.

Ive had those settings for months, stil no way to answer calls. Always goes to voicemali.

every call is given a busy or goes to voice mail. there is not enough time to accept the call before it goes to busy.

I'm having the same issue on my iphone with iOS 5.1.1.  Flash screen is too fast to pick it up!! ... Anyone's issue is fixed yet?  Just purchased an online number today but the SKYPE service is not working on background.   Hope to get a refund.

Dear all,

Customer support told me that this issue was fixed in the newest version though I already updated to the newest.  Anyway, I removed it, reinstalled it, powered on and off.  Now, it's working properly.  Hope this info may help.
