Ipad2 skype no video

just to let you all know, the issue is now resolved - I updated Skype to the latest version which has some bug fixes and its now working fine from ipad to pc and ipad to ipad.

I downloaded Skype n my iPad 2 last night so it's the latest version and still I have no incoming video. Outgoing video works though.

I just downloaded this on my iPad2 and I cannot get the video to work. It works via iPhone not iPad . Did you get resolution?

I'm having the same problem, I can't get my front or back video to work . My husband can't see me but I can see him with my picture in the small box to the right. The video will not let me change from no video.

Same problem. I can check audio but check video button is not active. I see person I call -but they can not see me. I am new to iPad but use Skype on PC with no trouble.

I too had this problem and found a solution you should try. First, delete the skype app. Second, do a reset of your ipad2 (hold down the home button and the power button until you see the apple logo). This will not delete any of your apps. Then, reload the skype app. Worked for me when all else failed. Let me know if it works for you.

I have the same problem. I tried deleting Skype and resetting my iPad but that hasn't worked. I still can't see the other person.

i have ipad2. Yesterday when sky ping, I could not receive video ; only the re diver had my picture. What is wrong? Joyce

Very confusing this is , sound is ok but on a call to Canada , our cousins cannot see us on either front or back camera but we can see them , yet when we try our friends 40 miles away they can see our rear camera but no front camera , any help here ......thanks
