IPhone 4S Siri bug

Whenever I try to listen to a Skype message, Siri keeps popping up and I can't listen to the message. Anyone else having this problem? any fixes?

This is Siri's "Raise to Speak" option interfering with Skype's usage of the same feature to detect when you are listening to the earpiece.

Turn off the "Raise to Speak" option in Settings -> General -> Siri, or use speakerphone to listen to the message

Re: IPhone 4S Siri bug

I also have this same issue. The response is a fair workaround, but restricting the phone's functionality is hardly a long term fix. Are there any plans to resolve this conflict?

Re: IPhone 4S Siri bug

Do you think they'd be able to implement a temporary block of that activation method for as long as the app stays open or is that even possible?
Just a suggestion, but thanks to flurffmeister for the suggestion. I also agree with earthairfire in that a long term fix is needed.

Re: IPhone 4S Siri bug

I have same issue with Siri- when ever I dial a number in Skype, Siri pop up and I need to cancel my call first while Siri is bubbling- that is annoying.  I will stop Siri for some now
