How to make calls on my iPhone with my online #

When I try to make a call from my iPhone from Skype it says I need more credit but I thought the whole purpose of the online # was to allow me to make calls back home, right?! What am I doing wrong? Please help! Thanks

An Online Number is to receive incoming calls. To make outgoing calls you need credits or a subscription.
