How do I block someone on my iPad? [ Edited ]

I have the same problem, I am also getting phone calls from the number xxxxxxxxxx that I believe is related. I find the skype calls from this security alert and the phone calls start when I log on to craigslist. Let me know if you are experiencing anything similar

I am getting the canned voice call on my iPad telling me that computer (gives my computer ID) is not protected and I need to go to website to get protection. How can I block this caller? They have now called my iPad twice in the space of an hour.

I'm having the same problem. They are not on my contact list and yet I get the call. I've had skype on my ipad for less than a week and I've had 3 calls like this already. Do I have to install skype on my pc to fix this?

I was able to block using my computer,does that block them from calling my ipod as well?

Hey!  It's been well over a year on this feature request...keep getting bogus calls.  How do I block them?  Loged on my computer and the call did not show.  There has to be a way to lock these on an iOS device.  Look foward to your reply.

This is becoming a really big gating issue. I am now getting numerous spam calls a day. Skype needs to deal with this effectively and quickly on all platforms or the value of the product will diminish rapidly and it becomes more of a nuisance than an asset.

My daughter has just received anonymous calls from the same user byby-xxx-lol. Thankfully I picked up the iPad  first and was presented with a pornographic image. To say that i am not impressed is a gross understatement. To now find that I cannot block a user on the iPad is even more ridiculous. I am reporting this event to the police and will be removing Skype from all my computers in the next few days. goodbye Skype. Get your act together and allow other users to block callers.

To delete someone off Skype all you do is hold on one of your contacts with your finger until it starts to shake and an x should appear on the top right corner of the contact, just like when you delete an app on your iPhone, iPad etc. Although make sure you do this step when you're looking at all of your contacts.

I'm still not sure how to block a contact though, sorry.
