How do I add a contact in iPad 2?

I've just got Skype and can't figure out how to add a contact. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I have the same problem and also I am unable to search under Contacts for phone numbers, Skype names. The Search field remains grey and unresponsive. I have deleted Skype and re- downloaded it to no availe. My Skype on my pc is quite different. I can see all my contacts listed on the left and see who is on line as well

1. Open Skype app

2. Login, if not already logged in

3. Go to Contacts

4. Press the + sign at the top right corner

5. Press Search Skype Directory

6. Type user name and press Search

7. Select user from listand press Add Contact (top right corner)

If you dont see a plus and it says cancel, click cancel and then there will be a plus. I had the same problem. I hope this helped you
