I do hope that the coming update can solve this problem. Still would like to have some rough ideas of how long to wait, 2 wks, 1month or longer...? Since now I'm using Skype nearly everyday the history lists grow fast.

If that's right, then why when you delete and reinstall Skype on iPad does all history delete permanently. There's a cookie or something that is installed on the iPad that is not working as it should, in my opinion.

Please update to today's 3.6 release from the App Store which fixes the returning deleted conversations.
