How can I activate the audio with Skype video chat HDMI mirrored on my TV? Only video works.

I got Ipad2 and the Apple Hdmi adapter. I want to use Skype on my TV for video chats and the screen mirroring works fine with the HDMI cable, but I am not able to transfer the sound, is there any way to activate it? The HDMI audio transfer works perfectly otherwise for movies and iPod

It appears that this version of Skype is hard-coded to send audio out through the iPad speaker or headphone jack.  You can feed the output of the headphone jack into your TV to get the audio there until Skype allows other options.
