Update on latest solution to the account DB io error: when closing the Skype app through the multi tasking bar, you may not be able to see the Skype app on the bar if you have run it the first time without hitting the home screen. If you do not see the Skype app on the multi tasking bar, please click the home button to return to the home screen then do the following steps provided above to close the Skype app through the multi tasking bar.
I have had this problem for about 10 days , after the update it won't let me login, very frustrating, I love My Skype so try and fix soon please!!! If I uninstall and then reinstall it works but when I disconnect from the Internet I get the DB 10 error message when I try to login next time .
It is annoying but solution numbe one will resolve the situation a lot longer then other solutions. Number 4 is the fastest, but still causes the error to display quicker for some reason. I don't think number 4 solution actually hard boots the Skype app completely, including the files it needs to run that is in the background of the iPad database.
