Re: Bluetooth/ipad- only first call works

Same issue with iPad3 (currently 'new') and jawbone Era. On first call, touching the speaker icon changes to BT. Following calls won't switch to BT, no matter how often I hit the speaker icon. Interesting is that when I hang up, for a split second while the call is being terminated, the speaker icon changes to BT. Of course that's no help, but it may indicate that the event to switch was queued, but isn't getting handled.

Re: Bluetooth/ipad- only first call works

Seeing this and knowing SKYPE is owned by Microsoft, seems like this might be a corporate dispute issue. Everything worked great till the last update!

Re: Bluetooth/ipad- only first call works

The same problem with iPad3 and latest skype app. I am using the plantronics m155 headset. I submitted the feedback through the online skype form. If this problem exists already from 11-2011, then is Skype anyway interested in solving this issue?

Not really smart of Skype to ignore this problem, from a marketing point-of-view. Skype+iPad+bluetooth=not working. Also the app crashes sometimes when just trying to make a call.

Re: Bluetooth/ipad- only first call works

I've contacted support via chat. They said reinstall will fix it. I asked whether I should reinstall before each call. The person did not answer that, but said he'd elevate this to someone and they'll contact me back by e-mail.

Re: Bluetooth/ipad- only first call works

I've recieved followup from technical support staff and I am trying to persuade them that it is a bug. After two e-mail rounds (again specification of HW, SW, BT headset), I've received a suggestion to tap the mic icon to switch to BT. I've tried my best to explain that exactly, THAT is the thing that does not work

Skype and its technical stuff are f%^& useless.

This problem has been going on for over 5 months and nothing done about it.

They don't listen to their customers

Yup. At least it makes a good point for discussion "hey boss, we need this f**k amount of money for conferencing solution that works". Suprisingly, that won't be Skype

They just launches Skype on Windows Phone 1.0
With the same headsetissue! Since a few month Skype is totally owned by microsoft...
Where, do you think, they will allocate their development-ressources?
