I still have the same problem with my: Ipad2 , Skype in combinatieon with my Jabra Extreme PC bluetooth headset, still only works on first call.
I downloaded the Skype Ipad update, I reinstalled Skype on my Ipad, but without good results.
Jabra Extrme PC is the Jabra model Im using.
Please solve this problem !
Logitech h800.. My first test call from Skype worked fine. Now it doesn't. It'd be nice to have someone from Skype pay attention to a six page thread that's been going since they introduced bluetooth support for the iPad2. Certainly they are aware of this problem by now if they have any level at all of QA considering the number of extremely popular devices named in this thread.
Same thing as everyone else here. The headsets work fine on calls in other apps, music, games, etc. Just Skype doesn't work.
Im using anroid mobile and i have installed skype in it...i was using bluethooth headset for making calls and it is working fine only for the first time...if i uninstall and download new skype app and install it ..then it works later for the 2nd time its not working...so for making voice calls through bluethooth ,everytime im uninstalling and installing it..any solutions for me..plzzzzz reply
Dear Skype Team,
I think the best way to fix this would to be as follows:
In the settings options of the iPad (Settings app > Apps > Skype)
You should give users a 'yes/no' option on whether to always default to bluetooth if bluetooth is enabled. This would allow us to completely disable the iPad speaker so that the Skype app doesn't get confused as to which audio channels to use.
Please give us the option to make bluetooth the default sound option so that we can receive calls and not have to open the skype app on the ipad.
