I am running the latest Skype 3.5.454 on iPad 2. I have an LG bluetooth headset.
It works great for the first call, the bluetooth icon shows up and I can switch
between speaker and headset. Now, the next time I want to make a call, it just starts
with speaker and it doesn't let me select bluetooth. If I close skpe (from the multitasking bar) then it works again for the first call. Also, I noticed that while connected, if I press
the button in the headset to end the call, Skype doesn't do anything.
Anybody has seen this?
I just loaded version 3.5.454 on an iPhone 3GS and I cannot get my Motorola bluetooth headset to work at all. The app will only work on speakerphone and not ear piece.

After the latest updates both to iOS and Skype for iPad my BT-headset is NOT working again with Skype on iPad 2. I am really very disappointed. ((((
OK, I have the same problem but I can't even get the first call to switch to the BT earphone.
Works perfectly with my iPhone4 however...
So here's a point... lotsa peeps are having the same issue - and a few are posting here - but i dont see no answers guys!!!
HELLOOOOOO MR SKYPE... wakey wakey...
(Are ya picking up my Aussie sarcasm? I hope so - now lets see some results here)
My Bluetooth headset works with all other iPad apps, like videos and YouTube. My headset also works fine with my mobile phone and laptop. Skype is the ONLY app that does not work with my headset. Closing and restarting the Skype app does not make it recognize the device. And yes, I also have the Plantronics Voyager. This is a $100 headset, and is easily the best one I've ever used. My iPad 2 is running 5.0.1.
Looks to me like a bug in the Skype app.
