why does skype try to fix what i'm trying to say

so why does every time i type to someone it triesw to fix what im saying. here's an example. when i type i send it but below what i said, it will put something else, like what it thought i wanted to say in perenthesis like this:

It’s not Skype that is doing this. Most likely you have a 3rd party application that is “fixing” what you are typing.

In Skype go to Open Tools -> Options -> Advanced settings. At the bottom of this screen you should see a menu item saying “Manage other programs access to Skype”. Click on this menu. Do you now see any applications listed there?
