SKYPE CRASHING RIGHT AFTER LOGGING IN

Before today skype worked just fine on my computer, but today it has been frequently crashing.  It wasn't as bad at first and it crashed after 2 or 3 hours interval.  However it constantly crashes right after I log in and it is very annoying.  It keeps giving me "Skype has stopped working" messages. 

I have tried to uninstall and redownload skype, restarting my computer but it still won't stop crashing.

This problem is annoying me very much and it would be great if someone could suggest a solution for me...

I got that problem and tried to fix but no luck.I need skype really bad i have to talk to my family on skype from far distance.

I am having the same issue. Uninstalled and the reinstalled and got it too work after a few attempts. But only once. Now nothing. HELP!!!!!

Sorry to be the redundant one, but I'm experiencing this for the first time tonight as well. I've been using Skype regularly to stay in touch with my girlfriend who lives over 2000 miles away at the moment. Has anyone received a reply from Skype customer support regarding this?

BTW I called my sister with my iPod Touch Skype app and it worked just fine but every time I use skype on my laptop  (try to make calls or update contacts) it crashes...any info would be helpful

Keeps saying that Skype at home isnt available and to try later...anyone else??
