Hello;
I had a conferance call on Skype, the call was initiated on Skype for Mac with about 8 people who were all directly on Skype.
There were 3 additional people whom I tried adding to the call via the add call function. I am on Skype for Windows v 5.5.0.124. I tried adding the callers via Skype and via telephone (I am on subscription plan) but failed both ways.
When I added the callers, Skype showed their icon as being on the call for about 5 to 10 seconds and them dropped them without ever hearing anything. I tried again multiple times, with both their skype address and their phone numbers and had the same result every time. The person who started the call on their mac tried adding callers as well and had the same problem.
I even tried putting the conferance call on hold, dialing a person directly, which worked, but I was unable to add them to the conferance call, the button to add them just didn't work.
The call quality was very good, I just could not add anyone else. We were not using any type of video.
Can you please let me know what I can do to avoid this in the future or how to work around the problem if it happens?
