what are you doing exactly when trying to login? what is happening then exactly?

what version of skype are you testing on win8? look it up in Help > About

in my installation, versions from 5.5 to 5.8 (even 4.1.0.179) are fully operable.

go download the virtaul keyboard

use this keyboard to type in, when skip next line to password use the "tab" key to go there and after that hit enter.

because window 8 keyboard doesnot havs the "tab" key so you can not do that.
