where is my contacts page? How do I get back to Skyping again?

thanks ruwim, I didn't even know that there's a windows help page and a mac help page. I did post there just now. I hope I get some help and closure to all my Skype drama.

I had the same problem. I have Windows. I found that if I go to www.skype.com and sign in, I cannot find my contacts/tools, etc. page.  If I click the Skype icon on my bottom Windows toolbar, it takes me right to the contacts/tools, etc. page.

This should be made clear in Skype's instructions as it is driving people crazy.

I have the same problem! I am at my wits end. At the top my options menu has disapeared! No more Skype, Contacts, Converstaion, Contacts, Help. All those options disapeared. I tried removing and re installing but nothing!

So frustrating,

You may try this ”Chromeenabled” solution. This should re-establish you menu bar:

Quit Skype. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata%\skype, press Enter or OK button. Find now the folder with the name of your Skype account. Open this folder. You will find there a file with the name config.xml. You may see only “config” but with XML Document in the Type column. Open this file in any text editor (e.g. Notepad). Find there the section starting with <UI>. If you see there a line reading <ChromeEnabled>1</ChromeEnabled> then change the value 1 to 0. If this line doesn’t exist, then just add this line <ChromeEnabled>0</ChromeEnabled>. Save the file and restart Skype.

Try to reset skype settings

Exit Skype : From the system tray >> right click on the skype icon and click "Quit Skype"

Click Start >> Run Type: %appdata% Rename folder "Skype" to "Old_Skype"

Re-run Skype

Note: You will need your password to re-log on, and re-set any options from default

What happen when you are trying to login to Skype application?

Have you installed Skype program on your computer? Have you signed in this program?
