when i try to log in it just keeps loading??

hi ive been trying to log in to skype for quite a while and when i click on the desktop icon and enter details in the small box the circle that comes up to the right of the name and password just keeps turning endlessy could any1 help me please

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed on your computer?

try to Reset Internet Explorer settings.

now try running skype

i run norton 360 and computers own firewall and run google chrome

i hae done both them suggestions and still the same. if i google skype i can log in but cant go to contacts page or anything and logs me out when i click something but still cant log in from desktop

please disable windows default firewall

add skype to your norton firewall

in Norton 360 Click Settings >> Firewall under Detailed Settings >> Add on the Program Rules >>  Browse Skype.exe (inside program files\skype\phone) >> Open >> Allow >> OK.

Try to reset skype settings

Exit Skype : From the system tray >> right click on the skype icon and click "Quit Skype"

Click Start >> Run Type: %appdata% Rename folder "Skype" to "Old_Skype"

Re-run Skype

Note: You will need your password to re-log on, and re-set any options from default

when i type %appdata% in search box it comes up with " roaming " when i click on that it brings up appdata do i rename skype in that window or where it says roaming
