I managed to make a call from my computer to an Australian 1300 number.
The call was answered by an automated service.
"Press Key Numbe r# for..." etc.
But using the number keys on the computer keyboard,
my selection did not go through the system
and the opening greeting message kept repeating over and over.
I could get a Skype account for my mobile - but why should I?
I don;t want to use my mobile - I want to use the computer Skype.
That wasa the only point of having Skype.
What (if any) resolution to this is there?
If I uninstall Skype do I get my account balance refunded?
Have you actually used the correct dial pad to enter these numbers?
If you are not seeing this dial pad, then go to Call -> Show Dial Pad. Be aware that this option is only available when already in a call.
Beside this, there are also several reports on that entering the extension numbers may not work with the latest Skype versions, even when using the correct dial pad (keypad).
