to join Skype problems [ Edited ]

Have downloaded the programme and have been refused access as using wrong name and code this although I have contacted  my account using the same name and code --- how could this be ? .I am at a loss as to what to do next --- please advise  ?

First thing you should do is change your password!  You should never post it on a public forum. 

If you can signon to your account via a browser but not through the Skype program, contact Customer Support.  Start with this link:
