sound echo/feedback problem on my pc on all video calls with voice...described below

laptop is hp pavillion dv6 notebook with 64 bit windows 7 professional.

control panel under sound as 'integrated mic array ldt hi def audio codec selected.

skype sound set up says integrated mic array.

skype speakers say speakers and dual headphones ldt hi def.

auto adjust is selected on mic and speakers.

when i am online with someone skype icon says my speakers and mic are too close together.

If anyone can help, please do as I plan on using skype more and more for job interviews.

What I'd suggest you try is uncheck both "auto-adjust boxes."   Find manual settings that work withour feedback.

I have mic set to 1 or 2 tics from the lowest level, and speaker volume mid-range, that to avoid the very problem you're having.

Done but not yet tested.  Also under advanced microphone, checked mic box that said something to the effect of getting rid of echo.  Thanks for your quick response and I will keep you posted.
