skype won't open the sign in page

Probably the best thing to do right now is to uninstall IE9. Windows should automatically revert to IE8, if this was your previous version. You can uninstall IE9 from Windows Control Panel -> Programs and Features – Installed Updates.  Also see this:

Let’s see if Skype works with the previous version of Internet Explorer. Subsequently you may try to re-install IE9.

What exactly is your problem? What happens when you are trying to login?

I figured it out, it was a Javascript issue concerning IE9.  I uninstalled the update and reverted back to IE8.

i don't even get that much, just the blue Skype logo. Mine worked fine just a couple of weeks ago. I have windows 7 and haven't changed anything since my last Skype.
