skype chat message doesn't working!!! please help!

Hi! My skype chat message doesn't working. I don't see text in the message window. There is a sound that I've got chat message and window is highlighted but as I mentioned - I don't see the text - both text from my friend as well and the text that I write and send

I've made update and still nothing. I've tried to uninstall and install new version once again and still nothing.

Can you please help me?? I use skype usually for chat messages and now it just doesn't working

It may be a problem with your operating system.Try accesing your skype through another pc maybe someone's laptop whom you trust.Then see whether the chat message problem has been solved.Do post your result.I would try my best to help you

I having the same problem (about 2 weeks)

Unfortunatly rebooting is not enough in my case. I read in a forum that someone solved this problem by "loading the PAC files locally" but I'm not sure abput how to do this without messing up all my proxy settings has anyone an advise?

just had this problem myself

first, save any messages you don't want to lose to a .txt or something. then go to tools>options>IMs&SMS>show advanced and click on "clear history"

It seems to work like an internal re-install

Check if your computer’s date/time is not wrong or was wrong in the past. What the OP (milena_niescior) is describing is often due to wrong computer time.
