"skype has stopped working"

so im running skype and it signs me in, makes it act like theres going to be no problem then randomly, every time, it stops and windows brings up a box that says "Skype has stopped working"  what the heck is going on and why wont this fix. i have updated drivers updated windows, restarted like a billion times and redownloaded skype and installed it more times what the heck

Glad to now it's not me this is happening to! Hopefully we can get an answer because I'd like to skype with my family!

The main problem are the ads like progressive or at&t. You can either wait till this is fixed or install over using beta 5.7
