"Skype can't connect"

I've recently downloaded the new version of Skype and it let me useit for about 30mins before i signed off then when I attempted to login the next day I got the message "Skype can't connect".

I've looked at other threads for help but nothing works.

I am currently using a Windows 7 (64-Bit) Computer with skype 5.10.0.114 and my firewall is letting skype access.

Exact same thing happen to me and I am out of the country and this was my only form of communication. So sad : (

Do you have McAfee? Mine updated at the same time Skype updated and McAfee got switched to not allow full access to skype. I switched and I am back on line.
