"No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

Hi,

My fujitsu notebook computer's got windows 7. It was working fine when I'm on skype for a long time. But just from a few weeks ago, it's built in camera is not working.

I clicked Tools - Options - Video Setting then the computer stopped running and showed a mesage "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure". Any idea?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

Hi

I am having the same problem and cannot start Skype anymore. This link explains how to set the path to the ipp library but not where one can find these files. I have searched high and low with no avail. Could you give me some pointers please?

Thanks!

Are you receiving exactly the same error message as the original poster?

When did you started to receive this error message? What has changed on your computer at this time?

Re: "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

I installed a program called Dartfish for analysing athlete videos. As I can tell it installed Intel IPP dlls and now Skype has a problem locating an appropriate version from this library. I have tried uninstalling Dartfish and reinstalling Skype as well.

Thanks!

Re: "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

Most likely the DLLs are located in a folder with a name like this:

C:\Program Files\Intel\IPP\6.x\ia32\bin

or

C:\Program Files\Intel\IPP\6.x\em64t\bin

Re: "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

I have the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel, but no IPP folder. Do you know of a link where I can download this library again? Have googled it many times but didn't find anything suitable.

Re: "No DLL was found in the Waterfall procedure"

Solution:

Install (or reinstall) GoProCineFormStudioPC-1.3.2.169.exe

It seems, that this program when it is uninstalled also removes some ipp*.dll files.

I just reinstalled the program (which I luckely enough still had) and the error disapeared.

When istalled the Missing dll's is found ind gopro\tools:
ipps-6.1.dll
ippsw7-6.1.dll
ippvc-6.1.dll
ippvc8-6.1.dll
ippvcw7-6.1.dll

(Mayby it is possible to copy the dll's to at "safe place", remove GoProCineForm, and make system path to the dll's ?)
