I don't think I have other programs using this webcam. How do I make it work?

try reinstalling your webcam driver.

Try to reset Skype Settings

after spending the whole day try to solve my web cam problem whilst in skype, and trust me i tried absolutely everything, the only thing that worked was uninstalling skype and reinstalling older version. my webcam now works. Fantastic.

Download directx from microsoft if you are running windows and solve "web cam being used by another program" issue . Worked for me . regards george
